One way to have the best party ever is to have a theme.
Pick the coolest thing of the moment or whatever you are
really into. See below for some fun suggestions and ways
to add an extra bit of magic to that special day.
First choose a theme that will work well with dressing up,
games to play, activities to do and the food and drink.

Fairies and Hidden Treasure
|

| |
Mirror,
mirror on the wall, who's the fairest fairy of them all? Why
you of course! Sprinkle some fairy dust, make a wish and invite
all your friends over for a fairy party. Don't forget to tell
them to bring their fairy wings and magic wand.
Fairies play lots of games, especially hide and seek...now
you see me, now you don't!
Have fun making up special fairy names for every one, and
of course, make sure you know what type of fairy you are.
Remember when you make a wish, don't tell anyone what you
wished for...it's our little secret.

Pirates and Hidden Treasure
|
|
| |
Draw
treasure maps with clues to find the hidden treasure. Hide
some ‘surprises’ throughout the garden or party
room. Everybody gets to look for the treasure. Dress the table
with ‘decorated’ balloons with drawings or pictures
of pirate things, Cap’n Birds Eye healthy fish delights,
fruit juices, home made pirate paper hats and whatever else
you can think of. Play some funky reggae music in the background
or your favourite pirate movie. Wear bandanas and eye patches
to fit the scene. Make sure you have the camera handy! The
age group for the party will determine what else you add to
make it the best party ever, matey!

Magic Party
|

| |
Make
your very own magic wand with a stick and sprinkle with ‘magic’
glitter.
Dress up as a wizard or your favourite magic character and
perform magic tricks on your friends.
To enter your party the guest must say the secret password
which you put on the invitation. Food such as fairy cakes,
magic drinks and mystery snacks are a real treat. Abracadabra!

Go Troppo
|

Grab
your hula hoop, hula skirt, flowers, sunscreen and, of course,
that Mermaid outfit and have yourself a tropical hoopla! Play
your favourite beach music and have limbo competitions, play
'what water creature am I?', charades and conduct hula hoop
challenges.
