26. MINI CHEESY FRANKFURTER PIES

Perfect party food for anyone who likes sausages sauce & pastry......& what kid doesn't!

Before you begin:
Kitchens can be dangerous so make sure you have just read the Kitchen Safety Checklist.
Check with Mum or Dad that you are allowed to cook.
So the food doesn’t get any germs wash your hands with warm soapy water and dry them well.
Read the recipe through before you begin and get out all the equipment and ingredients you will need.
Don’t forget to have fun, and the best cooks ALWAYS clean up their mess.

Makes: 24

Here’s what you need:
• 24 mini vol au vent cases
• 400g can Cocktail Frankfurts, sliced
• 1 cup grated low-fat tasty cheese
• 3 tablespoons tomato sauce

Here’s how to do it:
1. Place sliced Cocktail Frankfurts into vol au vent cases.
2. Combine low-fat cheese and tomato sauce and spoon onto frankfurts. Place onto a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 10 minutes.

Setting Up Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time:
10 minutes

HOT TIP: For the more adventurous tastebuds, sweet chilli sauce or barbecue sauce can be used as an alternative to tomato.
