HUMMUS
A tasty dip of chick peas , yoghurt, cumin, lemon &
sesame seeds served with bread, vegetables or crackers.

warm soapy water and dry them well. |

the equipment and ingredients you will need. |

Makes: 1 cup
Heres what you need:
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
300g can Edgell Chick Peas,
drained
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup low fat natural yogurt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Toasted wholemeal pita bread and vegetable sticks
to serve
Heres how to
do it:

Place
all ingredients into a food processor and blend until
mixture is smooth. Season with salt and pepper. |

Spoon
hummus into serving dish and serve with toasted pita
triangles and vegetable sticks. |
Setting Up Time:
5 minutes
HOT TIP: For a
colorful alternative, simply add 2 tablespoons chopped
fresh coriander leaves at Step 2. Serve as a dip or a
tasty sandwich spread.
