16. SEA MELTS

Before you begin:
Kitchens can be dangerous so make sure you have just read the Kitchen Safety Checklist.
Check with Mum or Dad that you are allowed to cook.
So the food doesn’t get any germs wash your hands with warm soapy water and dry them well.
Read the recipe through before you begin and get out all the equipment and ingredients you will need.
Don’t forget to have fun, and the best cooks ALWAYS clean up their mess.

Here’s what you need:
• 2 x 30cm diameter pizza bases
140g tub Leggo’s Pizza Sauce
• 2-3 slices canned pineapple, well drained and chopped
• 3-4 slices low fat ham finely chopped
• 1 cup grated tasty low fat cheese

Here’s how to do it:

1. Using a 5cm round cutter, cut out approximately 24 small rounds from the large pizza bases, keeping close together to avoid wastage.
2. Spread each small pizza round with a little Leggo’s Pizza Sauce and place onto greased oven trays.
3. Top with pineapple, ham and cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200:C for 10 minutes.
