CHERRY MALLOWS
Before you begin:

Kitchens
can be dangerous so make sure you have just read the Kitchen

Check
with Mum or Dad that you are allowed to cook. |
|
So
the food doesn’t get any germs wash your hands with
warm soapy water and dry them well. |
|
Read
the recipe through before you begin and get out all
the equipment and ingredients you will need. |
|
Dont
forget to have fun, and the best cooks ALWAYS clean up
their mess. |

Heres what you need:

425g
can John West Stoneless Black
Cherries, drained and juice set aside |
|
|
1
1/2 teaspoons gelatine |
|
|
1/4
cup cream or vanilla yoghurt |
|
|
1/2
cup mini marshmallows |
Heres how to
do it:

In
a small saucepan heat cherry juice (do not boil).
Add gelatine and whisk with a fork until gelatine
has dissolved. Allow to cool and refrigerate until
semi-set. |

Using
an electric mixer beat the semi-set juice until light
and fluffy. Add cream or yoghurt and beat for a further
30 seconds. Fold in marshmallows. |

Place
34 cherries into small serving glasses and top
with marshmallow mixture. Refrigerate until set. (Use
reserve cherries to decorate if desired.) |
