CREAMED CORN & BACON PIES...YUM
Before you begin:

warm soapy water and dry them well. |

the recipe through before you begin and get out all
the equipment and ingredients you will need. |

Makes: 12
Heres what you need:
4 sheets wholemeal Mountain bread
420g can Edgell Creamed
Corn
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup baby spinach leaves, finely shredded
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup grated low fat cheese
2 rashers lean bacon, finely shredded
Heres how to do it:

Using
a 10cm pastry cutter cut out 12 circles from 4 sheets
mountain bread and gently press into a greased 12
x 1/2 cup muffin tray. |

In
a medium bowl combine Edgell
Creamed Corn, eggs, spinach leaves, parsley
and grated cheese. Season with pepper. |

Spoon
corn mixture into each bread cup and sprinkle with
bacon. Bake in a preheated oven at 200:C for 1820
minutes. |
Setting Up Time:
10 minutes
Cooking Time: 18 minutes
HOT TIP: Add finely chopped
fresh chives to mixture for extra flavour.
