79. Ham and Pineapple Pizza
 


Before you begin:

Kitchens can be dangerous so make sure you have just read the Kitchen Safety Checklist.
Check with Mum or Dad that you are allowed to cook.
So the food doesn’t get any germs, wash your hands with warm soapy water and dry them well.
Read the recipe through before you begin and get out all the equipment and ingredients you will need.
Don’t forget to have fun, and the best cooks ALWAYS clean up their mess.

Here’s what you use
• oven trays
• baking paper
• spatula
• 3 bowls
• can opener
• oven mitts
• pizza wheel/kitchen knife
• chopping board

Here’s what you need
• 2 x 9 inch prepared pizza bases
• 2 x 50g sachet Leggo’s Pizza Sauce
• 200g shredded ham
• 1 cup grated cheese
• 440g can pineapple pieces, drained





Here’s how to do it

Step 1
Line two baking trays with baking paper and place a pizza base on each. Tear the top off the Leggo’s Pizza Sauce sachets and squeeze one sachet over each pizza, spreading sauce to the edges with a spatula or back of a dessertspoon.

 
Step 2
Take half the shredded ham and arrange over one pizza base making sure to cover the whole base. Repeat with the remaining ham and pizza base.

 
Step 3
Divide the pineapple in half and arrange over each pizza base.

Step 4
Sprinkle each pizza with half the cheese.

 
Step 5
Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes. When cooked remove from oven and place onto a heatproof mat. Cut the pizza into wedges using a pizza cutting wheel or a knife.

Setting Up Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

HOT TIP: If the ham isn’t shredded you will need a chopping board and a kitchen knife and lay the ham slices in a stack and cut into thin shreds.
