45. SWEET & SOUR FISH

A simple sweet & sour sauce to serve over oven baked fish.

Before you begin:
Kitchens can be dangerous so make sure you have just read the Kitchen Safety Checklist.
Check with Mum or Dad that you are allowed to cook.
So the food doesn’t get any germs wash your hands with warm soapy water and dry them well.
Read the recipe through before you begin and get out all the equipment and ingredients you will need.
Don’t forget to have fun, and the best cooks ALWAYS clean up their mess.

Makes: 4

Here’s what you need:
• 4 pieces Birds Eye Oven Bake Fish - Original Crumbed Fish Fillets
• 225g can pineapple pieces in syrup, undrained
• 1 tablespoon Leggo's Tomato Paste
• 1 spring onion, sliced

Here’s how to do it:
1. Cook Birds Eye Oven Bake Fish following packet directions.
2. Meanwhile place pineapple pieces and syrup, Leggo's Tomato Paste and spring onion in a small saucepan, bring to the boil reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
3. Spoon sweet and sour sauce over cooked fish and serve.

Setting Up Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

HOT TIP: Serve this dish with steamed rice and vegetables.
