41. BUBBLE & SQUEAK PATTIES

Eat tasty Bubble & Squeak topped with pineapple and cheese after school, onweekends or for a light meal.

Before you begin:
Kitchens can be dangerous so make sure you have just read the Kitchen Safety Checklist.
Check with Mum or Dad that you are allowed to cook.
So the food doesn’t get any germs wash your hands with warm soapy water and dry them well.
Read the recipe through before you begin and get out all the equipment and ingredients you will need.
Don’t forget to have fun, and the best cooks ALWAYS clean up their mess.

Makes: 9

Here’s what you need:
• 700g packet frozen Birds Eye Bubble 'N Squeak
• 1/2 cup drained pineapple pieces or crushed pineapple
• 1/4 cup grated low fat tasty cheese
• 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives

Here’s how to do it:
1. Cook Birds Eye Bubble ' N Squeak following grill method instructions and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
2. Top with a spoonful of pineapple and sprinkle with grated cheese and chives and continue cooking under grill until golden brown.

Setting Up Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

HOT TIP: Topping can be varied with tomato slices, bacon, avocado and cheese
slices.
