Hey everybody! Now is the time to go outside and DO something

Time Out
Even if you just eat good foods, to be a really healthy we all need to do some exercise each day. We need to take TIME OUT to do some walking, riding a bike, playing ball, swimming, skateboarding, dancing, rollerblading or any type of sport. Try all sorts of exercise to find out what is most fun for you.

Do Something
If you are hooked on computer games why not play the latest ‘sports’ computer game, learn the rules and tactics, then go outside and play the real thing. Remember to always take TIME OUT from any sitting activity and just DO something that involves exercise and that way you’ll be as healthy as you can possibly be.

At School
At school playtime make sure you make the most of it by taking TIME OUT for exercise. This could include things like playing ball, chasey, all sorts of tiggy such as scarecrow tiggy, zombie tiggy or the latest rage of Marco Polo.

Try things
Join a local community group, club or school team to do some of your favourite activities where you can have fun and meet new friends who like doing the same as what you do. Try things like ice skating, swimming, soccer, netball, tennis, basketball, australian rules football, cricket, table tennis, athletics and track and field, volley ball, badminton, rugby league, hockey, lacrosse or martial arts to name a few.
